Kite Jamboree is an event, unique in its formula, for kitesurfers, kiteboarding enthusiasts and their families – a meeting of advanced riders and beginner kitesurfers, as kitesurfing is a discipline for almost everyone. The festival will take place in El Gouna – a kitesurfing Mecca, one of the best kitesurfing spots in the world.
Yacht cruises to a picturesque Tawila island and Kite Island Expedition, i.e. kitesurfing and windsurfing between islands, are only some of the attractions of the international jamboree. Kite’n’Girls – a school of kitesurfing exclusively for women, run by an experienced instructor Dominika Derżecka will be the novelty. For fans of beach entertainment we have prepared animation for children and beach aerobics.
The biggest jamboree of kitesurfing enthusiasts from all over Europe will take place from 18 to 27 April 2008 in RedSeaZone, an international kitesurfing center in Egypt. One of our special guest will be Ruben Lenten, world’s top kitesurfing rider.
Main organizers of the festival are: RedSeaZone Watersport Academy, Kiteforum.pl and the city of El Gouna.
Beach parties run by famous DJs, accompanied by wallscreen shows of professional films and pictures from kitesessions will fulfil the festival evening time. Guests craving for active entertainment can enjoy such attractions as wakeboarding, waterskiing, coral reef diving, quads, go-carts, beach volleyball or football tournament.
An international kite cup, organized in an open formula, allowing both amateurs and professionals to participate, will take place on 20 April in RedSeaZone. Kite Jamboree will also include conferences on new trends, safety of kitesurfing and teaching, and an exhibition of the newest kiteboarding and wakeboarding equipment, with the opportunity to test it.

The festival in ElGouna will attract riders from the world’s most famous professional kite teams. One of the stars will be Ruben Lenten, world’s top kitesurfing rider.
